Christian Robert-Tissot revises and compiles “statement-words”, which he paints through typographic encounters that are innovative and unexpected on paper. With “Off Beat Combination” the artist sends us in a flashback reminding of his early video experiments. The statements of the paintings, freed from their frames, give rhythm to the visual field throughout the pages. From the very start, one can feel the artist’s sense of rhythm throughout the notebook.
